Ozonated Fluid: Ozone + Vegetable Oils + DMSO

Benefits

  • Regenerator: Promotes the regeneration of corneal tissue.
  • Revitalizing: Increases the nutritional capacity of the corneal tissue, producing an improvement in vitality, adequate hydration and a good general appearance of the hoof.
  • Reduces the attraction of unwanted particles: such as dust, dirt, etc. on the surface of the hull, keeping it clean.
  • Deodorizer: Eliminate thebad smellss
  • Germicide: When applied directly to tissues, it effectively eliminates bacteria, fungi and viruses.
  • Analgesic and local anti-inflammatory.

Description:

Protector and regenerator of hooves.

Composition:

DMSO 10%
ozonated vegetable oil q.s. c.s.p.

Indications:

To keep the hoof healthy by increasing its hydration while maintaining the softness, flexibility and elasticity of the sole, frog and wall of the hoof. Strengthens recovery in different conditions of the hoof: laminitis, bruises, abscesses, cracks, loss of substance from the horny tissue, dehydration of the hoof, growth reduction and frog rot. Its daily use is recommended for the maintenance of the healthy hoof, in order to avoid or minimize possible infections of the same.

Therapeutic Action:

Ozone: Ozone (O3) is the allotropic form of oxygen (O2), that is, it is oxygen in its most active state. It has different actions:

Germicide: The main characteristic of ozone is its great capacity to oxidize organic compounds, including bacteria, fungi and viruses. When applied directly to the tissues, the action of ozone is immediate, eliminating them and leaving pure oxygen as residue. This makes it a highly efficient natural germicidal agent.

Revitalizing: Increases the capacity to absorb nutrients, microelements and oxygen from the corneal tissue as well as to expel waste material and final products of metabolism, producing an improvement in vitality, adequate hydration and a good general appearance of the hoof.

Oxygenating: Increases the capacity of the blood to absorb and transport a greater amount of oxygen to the whole organism, improving circulation and cellular functions in general. It also stimulates the enzymes that participate in its metabolism. It stimulates glycolysis, which is the fundamental source of energy for cells, thereby improving their general functions.

Regenerative: Promotes the regeneration of different types of tissues: wound healing, ulcerations, joint tissues, production of corneal tissue.

Analgesic and anti-inflammatory: Applied locally, it neutralizes neurochemical mediators of pain, and facilitates the metabolization and elimination of inflammatory mediators such as histamines, kinins, etc.

Deodorizing: Eliminates bad odors, destroying the particles that originate it.

Neutralizes static electricity: Thereby completely reducing the attraction effect of unwanted particles such as dust, dirt, etc. on the surface of the hull, keeping it clean.

Vegetable Oils: Ozone has a very short lifetime and at room temperature it returns to its oxygen state in less than 5 minutes; this limits its use. Vegetable oil, when mixed with ozone, modifies its chemical structure and allows ozone to be stored in a stable and active manner for several years. Ozone metabolites have a shorter chain, lower molecular weight, and greater hydrophilic character. Therefore, they are better able to penetrate cell membranes.

DMSO: Increases intracellular diffusion. It interacts with intracellular proteins to increase penetration into corneocytes. It acts as a solvent for the components of the corneal extract.

Dosage and Administration:

Shake well before use. Clean and dry the local area to be treated well, without exposing it to the sun. Apply over the entire hoof with a brush or brush, from the crown to the sole, giving two or three light strokes. Whenever possible, keep the lesion in contact with the air, without the use of a bandage. Apply once a day. In severe cases, apply every 12 hours. The interval of applications and duration of treatment is indicated according to the pathology, at the discretion of the Veterinarian.
